The Personnel Security System is not affiliated with, sponsored by, approved by or endorsed by the U.S. Department of Defense, the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency, or any other government agency. References to government forms, SEAD 3 or 32 CFR Part 117 describe relevant workflows, not an approval or certification.
Hosted data restrictions
Do not submit classified information, CUI, covered defense information or export-controlled technical data to this hosted service. Personnel information and DD254-related details must be assessed by your security office before submission; a record’s label or form name does not determine whether it is permitted. When prohibited information is involved, use your organization’s authorized systems instead.
No authorization or audit assurance
This hosted service is not represented as FedRAMP authorized, GovCloud hosted, government accredited, CMMC certified or verified as meeting contract-specific cybersecurity requirements. Exporting software or using a customer-owned Microsoft 365 folder does not by itself establish compliance, accreditation or eligibility to handle regulated information. Hosting, application processing and destination storage must each be assessed.
Customer review and official reporting
The facility is responsible for determining applicable law, contract clauses, handling rules, retention and reporting requirements. Software records, generated forms and training content do not replace official investigations, adjudications, filings or required agency reporting. Verify current guidance, generated documents and advisory content with your security office and official sources before relying on them.
